Another landmark of Sydney is the Luna Park. This historical theme park was opened in 1935. Located at Milsons Point, on the northern coast of Sydney Harbour this heritage-listed park has witnessed all – from changes of ownership, legal battles, to community action in both support of and opposition to Luna Park, resulting in its multiple closures. Luna Park Sydney is now the premier theme park in Sydney and remains open from Fridays to Mondays.

Hyde Park Barracks
Get a glimpse of the daily lives of convicts and other occupants, Australia’s convict system, and excavated artefacts at Hyde Park Barracks. Built between 1817 and 1819 Hyde Park Barracks were designed by Francis Greenway and is located at the southern end of Macquarie Street in Sydney. Hyde Park Barracks feature a museum operated by the Historic Houses Trust.
