Little Black Dress ---- Launched by Coco Chanel in 1926 which was then described by American Vogue as the "Chanel Ford - the frock that all the world will wear." Though time and various trends the little black dress has stayed, either in the form of the mini dress (in the sixties) , the prom dress (in the eighties) or the pencil dress (in the noughties). The black dress has lived on simply because of its wear-ability and its understated colour choice.
