A lot of hunters choose to wash their clothes in a non-scented laundry detergent and then again with just water to prevent as much fragrance as possible. They will infrequently use scented soaps, shampoos, or deodorants either. Bears are very responsive to human scents and as I stated previously, they can smell fragrances for miles away.
Once you have seen the bears are eating the bait, make sure you stay observant. Bears can noiselessly stagger through forests, so don’t depend on your sense of sound to discover bears, depend on your sight alternatively.
