Its object is to safeguard the health of healthy and cure the illness of the ill.
Among all system of medicine, ayurveda is the mother of all because ayurveda itself originated before the creation of life, as milk is originated in the breast of mother before delivery of foetus from mother's womb. As mother cares her child in all respect, ayurveda also cares human beings in all respect.
The main difference between ayurveda & other system of medicine is that - ayurveda decide the doshas in disease first and then treat whereas other system of medicine decide the treatment byt the symptoms of the disease.
Ayurveda cures the disease while other systems suppress the diseases.According to ayurveda, good medicine is explained as the medicine is good who cares the disease soothly & don't do any harm to the body. Ayurvedic medicines having no side-effect if it is taken in proper way.
Thus, you can see that the ayurveda has very useful concept of treatment, mode of treatment & method of treatment.So, my message is that we should obey the rule of ayurveda to live healthy.
