Introduction to Volkswagen Euro Vans
 
Euro van weekender has basic camper features, like a refrigerator in which you can keep your lunch and a couple of drinks. It is durable, tent-like, mesh-material flaps, along with sliding side screen windows. In 1999, VW installed a V6 engine rated at 140 HP, 2.8-liter VR6 was modified to yield more torque in the Euro van Weekender
than it does in other VW models. Euro van weekender has a 4400 pound towing capacity and cargo capacity of ½ ton. Other features include independent suspension, rack and pinion steering, anti lock braking, child safety lock, day time running light option and much more! These Euro vans have power windows, dust filter, air conditioning, power locks, cruise control, 6-speaker cassette stereo, intermittent wipers, heated windshield-washer nozzles, reaper wiper and power mirrors. In euro van weekender 7 people can sit comfortably. It also has a pop up roof with 2-person bed, window curtains, an optional battery and much more. In 2001, Euro van weekender’s engine was revised and gained 61 horsepower to a powerful 201HP, 2.8 liter V-6. Antiskid system and rear child seat anchors were also added as standard features.




In a weekender version, nearly 4-5 adults can sleep properly, while in Full camper version 4 adults can sleep properly. The weekender seat 7, and sleeps 5 and full campers seat 6 (with the optional middle seat) and sleeps 4. Euro van camper was introduced in the year 1993; it was introduced to replace the low powered rear engine, rear drive vanagon camper. In 1997, VW increased the engine size to 140HP, 2.8 liter V6 engine, as well as dual airbags. Euro van camper has 4400 pound towing capacity and a cargo capacity of ½ ton. Other features include low speed traction control, rack and pinion steering, antilock brakes, floor panel, child safety lock, as well as daytime running light option. Some of the standard features are power windows, a dust filter, air conditioning, power locks, cruise control, stereo, washer nozzles, intermittent wipers, rear washer and power mirrors. Seating 5, euro van camper has a forward facing center bench that converts into a
3-person bed. It has a popup roof with 2-person bed, window curtains, optional battery, two burner LP gas stove, sink, Incandescent light for upper bed, roof vent, Fluorescent lights over gallery and lower bed, two 110-volt outlets, two 12-volt outlets etc. In the year 2001, Euro van camper’s engine was changed, it gained 61 horsepower to a powerful 201HP, 2.8 liter V-6, antiskid system and rear child-seat anchors.
